Im officially registered for "Marie's Danse des fleur"! I've been waiting patiently since I spotted it on"My Artful Adventures" Blog a few months ago. I can't wait to dress up in my provocative "robe a la polonaise, with its bosom-enhancing bodice and its billowy, ankle-baring skirt, the whole crowned by a "pouf,"a 3-foot mountain of powdered hair decked with plumes, veils, and other objects arranged as saucy references to my alter ego.

Welcome to my blog and artful adventures. I'm just getting started in the blog world of portals and passages.   I never knew what a blog was until I received a calling card with a typepad.com at the end of a shop name.       I think it was Artistic Bliss. Talk about intimidating! Fichtre! I had no Idea what a blog or a typepad was. Im not even sure where I got the card. So while I was web surfing (this was before I needed to set a timer) I came across a business card from Kim Caldwell, Proprietor & Designer of Artistic Bliss Designs. On her card she had her shop web site, email and blog. I actually thought a blog was some type of new email. So I went to the shop web site and gazed around. I clicked on her products and what eye candy did I see? Totes! She makes these beautiful vintage style craft totes that any crafter would sell their soul for (at least I would have). I tried to buy one and they were sold out. Thats when the determination set in. So I kept searching around her site hoping that an unsold bag would turn up and thats when I saw the button "Artistic Bliss Blog". I clicked on the button, wondering what I was going to see, I was actually excited to find out what was behind the "Blog" button. When the page popped up, I had no Idea what to do, where to start or how your supposed to read it.    I didn't care... I began to click on all the other blogs she had listed and continued... blog after blog after blog.    I was amazed at how one page took me to so many different varieties of people and places. Thats when the fascination and fixation began. 

I'm loving every word, I hope you do to.
